About YSC

Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the premier organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. YSC offers resources, connections and outreach so women feel supported, empowered and hopeful.

YSC’s Background

YSC was founded in 1998 by three young women who were under the age of 35 when diagnosed. They were discouraged by the lack of resources available and the underrepresentation of young women in breast cancer research. Today, YSC is the go-to organization for young women facing a breast cancer diagnosis. Headquartered in New York City, YSC is the oldest and largest national organization focused exclusively on the unique needs of young women affected by breast cancer.

Facing Challenges Together, Educate to Empower

YSC provides information and resources for young women during every phase of treatment and survivorship through our comprehensive Navigator guidebooks and audio/video library.

Making Connections

Our local Face 2 Face meetups, one-on-one peer support program, vibrant Discussion Boards and our online video support groups help young women connect no matter where they are.

Cutting Edge Conferences

Our annual national Summit and Regional Symposia are the only conferences dedicated to the unique needs of young women with breast cancer. Attendees get cutting edge medical information and leave with lifelong friends.
